As an Account Executive at Trek10, you will have the exciting opportunity to leverage your existing relationships in the data center and telecommunication space to drive sustained and strategic growth at Trek10 through the sale of hybrid cloud initiatives on AWS. This will include selling enterprise hybrid cloud network implementations (e.g., AWS Direct Connect and VPN), physical server to cloud migrations, AWS’s new hybrid cloud solution (AWS Outposts, expected to hit General Availability in late 2019), and more. If you are a sales representative who is self-motivated, enjoys working in a startup-like environment, has a network of contacts across the private data center space, and is looking to jumpstart a career in AWS sales, apply with Trek10 today!

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

● Work closely with Trek10’s AWS Partner Team to develop strategic, go-to-market business plan to facilitate private data center and hybrid cloud sales

● Drive consulting and managed services revenue growth, especially in the Chicagoland area

● Work closely with technical sales team to develop Trek10 offerings and products in the private data and hybrid cloud center space

● Build and maintain robust sales opportunity pipeline

● Work from home or small office with limited travel to prospects outside of Chicagoland and occasional conferences

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

● 5+ years experience in an IT sales capacity

● Demonstrated experience selling Hybrid Cloud Solutions

● Experience building and presenting executive roadmaps

● Deep networks and contacts in the Data Center and Telecommunications industry

● Effective verbal and written communication skills

● Strong leadership skills

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

● Demonstrated experience in sales of AWS cloud services, software development, or hybrid cloud solutions

● Demonstrated experience in sales of enterprise migration initiatives (from private data center to AWS)

● Knowledge of and contacts with vendors across networking space (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Aviatrix, etc.)

● Experience in leveraging Salesforce CRM

● Technical background is a bonus
