Business Development Associate

Grupo Oricteropo Tropical (GO Tropical) is a Puerto Rican Act 20 company, established to export services such as centralized management (group “headquarters” for TransMarket Group), capital allocation, risk management, model and strategy research and development, and software development, to its international affiliates and customers.  Our mission is to bless others through the services we provide and through generous stewardship of the wealth we create.

Role and Responsibilities 
  • Work closely with senior executives to plan and execute Puerto Rico office set up and expansion plans 
  •  Represent the company to government officials and business contacts in a professional and positive manner.  Experience with local permitting processes preferred 
  •  Conduct research into important factors for potential business expansion sites
  • Facilitate transition for affiliated company team members to life in Puerto Rico
  • Learn about the management of a global markets proprietary trading firm 
 
Education and Experience Requirements 
  •  Strong work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Previous work experience in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top university in a technical subject preferred
