Outside Sales Representative

Trader Interactive is hiring an Outside Sales Representative for our RV and Cycle Trader brands in the Northern California area.

Be an integral part of our field sales team in the Northern California area! Our industry leading marketplace sites and marketing programs offer best in class solutions to thousands of dealerships across the United States. 

The Recreation Division of Trader Interactive, including Cycle Trader and RV Trader, is now seeking a dynamic sales professional to develop, present and deliver the best marketing and advertising solutions to RV and Powersports dealers in Northern California. Prospect, expand and retain lasting relationships with local dealerships. Ensure best-in-class support, and encourage customer loyalty.  Ideal candidates will have previous experience in outside sales. Experience in digital advertising and the RV or Powersports industry is also preferred.

Key responsibilities:
  • Strong background in sales including prospecting, cold calls & closing. 
  • Critical account management skills with consultative approach, ability to conduct. effective needs assessment and recommendation solutions. Effectively utilizing a wide array of winning presentation skills and tools for both active and prospect accounts.
  • Strong negotiation and listening skills.
  • Effective territory management including account activity documentation in SalesForce
  • Professional appearance and customer service oriented.
  • Utilize Marketing and Data Insights teams to develop a deep understanding of each account within your assigned territory.
  • Consistently meet defined goals and objectives for revenue, retention, new product sales and account ownership—lead by example to foster high standards within the regional sales team.

Must have qualifications:
  • 1 to 2 years sales experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Disciplined work ethic
  • Open to daily travel throughout Northern California

Additional desired qualifications:
  • CRM/SalesForce experience
  • Outside Sales experience
  • Media experience.
  • BA/BS in Business or related discipline
