We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to help us develop campaigns and programs to drive new qualified leads, build authority, and help expand existing client accounts in our core industries: music, sports and entertainment. You will plan and execute a data-backed marketing strategy that encompasses owned, earned and paid media. Ultimately, you will develop and promote the voice of Tradable Bits as a leader in fan marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting and exceeding targets for inbound leads
- Improving our authority in music, sports and entertainment
- Driving awareness for our brand, products and fan marketing
What you will be doing:
- Manage the execution of all marketing, PR and sponsorship campaigns
- Develop the marketing plan (monthly/annual) and manage the marketing budget
- Create integrated marketing multi-channel campaigns to generate new leads, influence existing deals, and strengthen the brand.
- Create and maintain a content strategy schedule including the Tradable Bits blog, What’s Kraken blog, email program and social channels aimed at increasing subscribers
- Find and secure sponsorships, ensuring our strategic partners earn us awareness in target industries and prove returns
- Represent the company at events, by speaking at conferences and networking with key stakeholders
- Write evergreen authority pieces for leaders in our company and pitch them to strategic external publications (and/or manage a PR Agency relationship)
- Report results of all marketing initiatives with qualitative data-backed insights
- Have an in-depth understanding of the platform’s history, existing functionality and future vision.
- Lead a team of Marketing Coordinators; mentoring them into being excellent content creators while editing and ensuring high quality in their work
- Coordinate with various departments on how we communicate our brand, business and platform to our clients and the fan marketing industries
- Coordinate with the Accounts team to develop training and internal marketing materials
- Coordinate with Development on how to market new products
- Coordinate with Sales to create public-facing documents to supplement the sales process
Your Qualifications:
- Expert-level communication skills: writing, public speaking, interpersonal communication
- Independent problem solver; able to quickly assess problems and identify a solution
- Extremely organized with high attention to detail; extensive experience copyediting
- Excellent project management skills: deadline management, establishing priorities, delegation, communication; always reflecting on past results and planning ahead
- Decisive and empathetic leader: Able to understand all perspectives and clearly communicate requirements; delivering discipline where necessary
- Data-driven marketing mindset; always tracking KPIs and comfortable reporting in Excel
- Expert-level knowledge of digital marketing: organic social media, email marketing, paid digital marketing, SEO, paid search, etc; certified in Facebook, Google, etc. an asset
- Experience with video editing, graphic design, photography, and web design an asset
- Minimum 3 years experience in the B2B marketing technology/SaaS industry
- Minimum 2 years experience managing a team; facilitating their professional growth while achieving company goals
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or another related field
- Second language in Spanish or French is an asset
