Job Description

We are seeking an experienced API & Integration Engineer to integrate third party systems with our API for new and existing customers. The Integration Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and updating our API and SDKs. As part of the Customer Success team, they must ensure customers have a smooth transition deploying a new software platform within their organization.  The main duties will involve assisting with the development of integrations between TrackVia and other software applications and creating custom logic within TrackVia. As a senior member of the team the Integration Engineer will also be responsible for mentoring junior members of the team. Looking over pull requests setting long term priorities and goals for improving processes and architectures. Specifically the Integration Engineer will:
  • Gather requirements from customers to understand and build the architecture and workflow of their integration
  • Maintain software written for specific customers
  • Set proper expectations and meet project milestones
  • Coordinate with engineering to ensure new features and bug fixes won’t adversely affect the API and customer integrations
  • Add new capabilities to the API/SDK as needed to meet customer requirements
  • Assist with the app deploy and train to utilize the TrackVia platform
  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Peer review pull requests
  • Set strategic goals for the team's processes, implementation strategies and software architecture.

Required Experience
  • Strong experience with Node.js
  • Strong experience implementing Object Oriented architectures to create elegant, scalable, reusable, and testable code
  • Strong experience with databases and database concepts (writing queries in SQL, normalization of database design, transactionality) 
  • Strong Project Management Skills

  • Excellent verbal communications: articulateness, patience, listening skills
