Product Manager – Factory Task Planning and Control (f/m/d)

About the role

We are currently looking for a Product Manager or Product Owner who will help us to build the next generation factory based on the principles of Industry 4.0. This will enable our partners to produce custom products without the need to alter the factory layout. All the factory components are individual agents that interact on the basis of multiagent logic; receiving tasks through a system of logic-solve and utilizing complex event processing, machine learning and Big Data to determine the best outcome.
 
This position will be responsible for one important part of this; creating a product to determine the most effective factory task management processes. This will involve:

  • Working in close collaboration with colleagues who are creating the “virtual twin” of our factory to determine the most effective and efficient task management processes
  • Controlling the execution of the created production plan
  • Evaluating production cycles and warehouse management
  • Integrating the procurement and ordering systems to optimise the assembly processes and strive for greater environmental sustainability
  • Providing a high level of analysis and troubleshooting 
 
In this newly created position, you will have the ability to:

  • Lead the creation of the product vision and roadmap, and provide direction and guidance multidisciplinary teams as well as manage the day-to-day aspects of project process
  • Create, recruit and develop your own team
  • Collaborate with other product owners/product managers, engineers, scientists and technologists to develop a truly unique product
 
What are we looking for

  • Experience in developing reach UI, UX web applications or products
  • Knowledge and understanding of the theory of distributed systems
  • Understanding the microservice architecture, as well as NoSQL
  • Experience creating requirements or designing architecture
  • Familiarity with agile software development methods and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions
  • Degree in Computer science or mathematics or similar      
  • Excellent knowledge of English, both written and oral
