Sr. HR Generalist

TPIRC is a non-profit clinical care and research center that focuses on the development of cutting-edge, individualized treatment protocols for rare and orphan diseases utilizing comprehensive diagnostic tools and patient-driven research.  Our mission is two-fold – to advance treatment discovery at a pace which helps our patients today, while building a scalable model of success to accelerate the rate of research discovery for all diseases.

We are currently seeking to hire Sr. Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join our growing team! The Sr. HR Generalist owns various aspects of the HR function, including but not limited to the interpretation of policies, onboarding, training, performance management, recruiting, employee relations and terminations. The Sr. HR Generalist manages, coordinates, and supports key HR processes and programs, essential to the growth and development of all TPIRC team members.

People Strategy
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager to deploy a fully integrated People Strategy from acquisition to exit
  • Develop engagement initiatives, implementing solutions to measure satisfaction, engagement, and adoption rates
Talent Acquisition
  • Support all recruitment functions organization wide
  • Assist hiring managers with the creation and posting of job descriptions
  • Develop recruiting strategies to scale teams as the company grows and expands
  • Full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, including 
  • Provide an impactful onboarding experience for all new hires by constantly assesses and making improvements to the current experience
  • Create onboarding and training schedules
  • Own the new hire process from offer letter acceptance to the first week of orientation
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements
  • Stay up to date with all state and federal regulations
  • Monitor and track all employee required compliance training, ensuring all dates are valid and communicating when additional training is needed
  • Monitor and track all required certifications, validating all dates and communicating when new certification is required
Talent and Performance Management
  • Collaborate with Department Leads on learning and development initiatives
  • Build out and implementation of training for all employees
  • Create training content for classroom style training and elearning system
  • Manage the review process
  • Ensure company wide understanding and adoption of OKR's and KPI's
  • Drive awareness and adoption of TPIRC’s benefits offerings
  • Ownership of open enrollment and the enrollment of new hires
  • Take lead in implementing various companywide wellness programs
Employee Health
  • Ownership of company’s employee health program
Employee Relations
  • Manage employee relations issues, ensuring effective, thorough, objective, and unbiased investigations and results
Systems & Technology
  • Hands on experience with various systems including HRIS, ATS, Performance Management, and LMS systems
  • Hands on experience implementing new systems
Metric and Data Analysis
  • Support HR with metrics and data analysis
  • Utilize metrics and data to provide solutions and make improvements where necessary
Ad Hoc Projects
  • As required and assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of full cycle HR experience
  • Understanding of all components of HR including systems, databases, and metrics
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High EQ 
  • Intermediate to expert level experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
