We are currently looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing team. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for creating social media campaigns, the day-to-day management of our social media platforms, and participate in data collection and analyses to improve social media practices over time.
Responsibilities:
· Develop social media content plans that are consistent our brand and messaging
· Create consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts and improving engagement
· Manage daily social media posts
· Communicate with social media followers, including responding to questions and comments in a timely manner
· Monitor and evaluate the social media presence and performance
· Prepare reports on social media efforts
· Suggest recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results
· Stay up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
· Performing other duties when needed
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field preferred
· 3 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Thorough understanding of social media management and strategy
· Experience using various analytics software
· Working knowledge of HTML and CSS preferred
· Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
