Sr. Recruiter

We are currently seeking a Sr. Recruiter to join our growing team. The Sr. Recruiter is responsible for all aspects of talent acquisition for the organization. The Sr. Recruiter collaborates with hiring managers across the organization to recruit top talent, working cross-functionally to understand all recruitment requirements to meet hiring needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop a strong understanding of the business, job classifications, and talent profiles
  •  Devise and carry out a targeted recruitment/sourcing strategy
  • Map role criteria, define position description, and document specifications
  • Work with management to identify staffing needs, working closely with them throughout the recruitment process
  • Proactively provide guidance to managers and hiring supervisors with recruitment and retention strategies
  • Build a network of contacts and pipeline of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management
  • Drive efforts to expand sourcing effectiveness through social networks, employee referrals, industry associations, direct sourcing, colleges/universities, on-line resources, and other creative channels.
  • Generate qualified candidate pools by leveraging sourcing platforms and expanding outreach efforts
  • Proactively provide recommendations to enhance the applicant experience
  • Subject matter expert on job classifications, bench marking and salary analysis
  • Track recruitment data, ad-hoc metrics, recruitment activity reporting, updates and applicant tracking system
  • Subject matter expert on tools and systems, including applicant tracking system, internet sourcing tools, and reporting tools
  • Manage the interview process from beginning to end, including coordinating and conducting phone screens and interviews and coordinating and moderating post interview debriefs
  • Create and post job descriptions
  • Own the candidate process through interview, decision, offer, closing, background/reference checks, and onboarding
  • Plan and attend recruiting events throughout the year, including college career fairs 
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager to deploy recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies across multiple platforms

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of corporate recruiting experience, from sourcing to onboarding
  • Proven ability to build and maintain candidate pipelines for both short and long term hiring needs using a variety of tools
  • Excellent consultative skills and proven success developing strong, collaborative relationships across multiple departments and levels
  • Strong time management and prioritization capabilities, with ability to multi-task effectively
