Operations Specialist, Watch Category

As our Operations Specialist for Watch Category, you will be responsible for inspection, quality assurance, and repair process of Watch Category. What you’ll be doing:
 
  • Possess strong knowledge of how a watch works (from movement to condition, to dials, etc) 
  • Understand the purchase order creation process for consignment inventory, sample inventory, and owned inventory 
  • Perform close inspection of Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 watches
  • Ensure watches are 100% operational, replace batteries as needed or minor repair
  • Troubleshoot as needed when a watch is not operational 
  • Develop & implement quality assurance standard for watch category 
  • Hold vendors accountable for quality metrics and issue chargebacks accordingly 
  • Manage end-to-end watch repair process and ensure all customers receive their watch in expected condition after for repair and in a timely manner.  Ensure repair log is always current
  • Assist customer service team with all contacts related to watch category 
  • Work with 3rd party repair shops as needed 
  • Assist coordination and copy team with accurate details for product listings
  • Process RMAs for returns and disposition accurately
  • Return damaged watches back to vendor, according to the terms and condition of vendor contracts
  • Manage watch inventory by performing regular cycle counts and performing inventory adjustments
  • Weekly review of inventory ownership, controls, and accuracy 

What you’ll bring to the role:
 
  • 2-3+ years of experience in fulfillment, warehousing, supply chain 
  • Experience in providing support in a retail environment
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in watch category
  • Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems efficiently; Gathers and analyzes information; Develops solutions; Uses reason.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
