SCREEN PRINTING MACHINE OPERATOR
We are seeking a Screen Printing Machine Operator to join our client in their manufacturing facility in Orangeville. Someone who is mechanically inclined and has experience working in this department in the past.

TWO SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
- Continental shift
- Rotating Day/Afternoon (8 hrs) every 2 weeks
JOB TYPE: Full Time (long-term opportunities are available)
SALARY: $18.00 - $20.00/hour
JOB LOCATION: Orangeville
ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITY INCLUDE, but are not limited to the following;
- Operate and monitor printing machines during print run and make adjustments
- Experience in complete screen print operation including working on artwork, burning screens, taping screens, setting up printer, adjusting speeds and pressure.
- Review work orders to determine job specifications. Fill up forms to indicate paper machine count and waste
- Duties include setting machines up, mixing ink, and printing/packing orders.
- Cleans and lubricates machines and performs another routine machine maintenance as per specified schedule. Turn in work order for machine maintenance as needed.
- Ensure that proper materials, inks and measurements according to customer specifications are used
- Cut material from blueprints and written specifications
- Monitor operations to detect defects or machine malfunctions and troubleshoot
- Knowledge in pad printing, laser engraving and ink jet printer an asset
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Preferable past 1-2 yrs. of working experience
- Working at an efficient and organized manner
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Great communication and team spirit
- Can do attitude and willing to learn new trades
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure calmly
- Solid computer and Mechanical skills
