Food Sanitation Associate

  • Perform all duties as assigned by the Sanitation Lead and Sanitation Manager.
  • Have at least a basic mechanical knowledge in working with tools.
  • Follow all company rules and guidelines as set forth in the company handbook.
  • Be flexible with schedule, (starting time and working weekends).
  • The Sanitation Department is a service to Production and therefore must work according to the Shut Down Period and Product Changeover Time as set by the Production Department.
  • Be able to work from a Ladder or Platform in a safe manner.
  • Be able to safely climb a ladder and perform work tasks at high levels.
  • Be able to work independently.
  • Must have the ability to learn multiple jobs, and the proper procedures for performing these jobs.
  • Learn to properly use Chemicals, Tools and Equipment as needed to get the job done right, and done safely.
  • Be able to follow instructions on how to perform work tasks involving Wet or Dry Wet Cleaning.
  • Must be a Team Player.
  • Learn the time frames given for each job, and learn to utilize the time given to the best of their ability to assure that the job is done correctly.
  • Learn and understand the Daily Cleaning Procedure forms, and to properly fill out and sign off on these forms on a daily basis.
  • Follow all GMP’s
  • Ensure all production equipment is clean and suitable for the production of high quality product.
