It enables dealers to submit used cars for appraisal and receive cash offers from a network of experts who balance knowledge with market valuation data resulting in the most accurate used car valuations. Fully optimized for mobile, the platform manages appraisal submissions, purchase offers, and dealer, appraiser, and buyer communications, as well as sales and fulfillment channel information.

The Job

As an HR Manager at The Appraisal Lane, you will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. You will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. You will also work closely with the rest of our human resources team, a dedicated team of software developers and managers both from Montevideo and abroad.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit and Onboard new hires. 
  • Conduct performance management and provide feedback. 
  • Manage Payroll and benefits for employees
  • Help organize office operations and procedures as they relate to HR, Recruitment and Office Management.
  • Help manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease.
  • Help manage office general and administrative expenses budget, ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Provide general support to visitors.
  • Assist in internal communication.
  • Assist in staff reviews.
  • Help with motivation activities, maintain and improve the working environment, and help with the continuous build of our company culture.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
  • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and good judgement
  • Medium level of English, able to provide short verbal updates in english and read and write correspondence.
  • Able to work full time—8 hours per day.
  • A passion to work in HR at an expanding company.
  • Team player.
