Overview
We are looking for a Financial Planning Analyst who has a proven track-record managing budgets, performing variance and trend analysis, and implementing corrective actions. You will coordinate cross-functionally to ensure timely and accurate expense forecast, evaluating and communicating risk. We require a high level of business acumen and ability to influence thought leaders within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide analytical and strategic support to internal customers throughout our business
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external reporting schedules
- Play a strategic role in the reporting and planning of the company’s workforce and operational management
- Leverage data visualization tools to deliver insightful analysis on operational trends within the business as well as automating reporting processes
- As a Financial Analyst, you will be challenged to grow professionally by using advanced quantitative analysis and modeling skills
- You will become a subject matter expert in your assigned functional areas and use your financial prowess to develop financial and data models to aid in providing actionable, insightful analysis
- Act as a strategic business partner to multiple areas of the business that we support
- Able to perform in-depth analysis of critical business activities and business units in order to provide analysis on risk and opportunities
- Able to participate in the creation of annual forecasts and budgets and able to identify material drivers to variance analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor degree required; Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or Statistics degree a plus
- 2+ years of analytical work experience in manufacturing, finance
- Excellent knowledge of data structures, analytical and modeling skills.
- Ability to understand workflow processes and systems
- Advanced knowledge in Excel AND Tableau
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation
- Organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task
