Marketing Manager

TeleSense is a trail-blazing startup in AgTech.  TeleSense is an IoT technology company specializing in wireless, real-time temperature and moisture monitoring for grain supply chain.  We are looking for a full-time or part-time marketing manager based in Silicon Valley, CA.  

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of all aspects of marketing (product marketing, digital marketing, awareness creation, advertising, trade shows and project management).

We want you to develop and execute written marketing plans. The Marketing Manager will work closely with Sales and Engineering and provide leadership to ensure that all marketing collateral is produced on time, while supporting the company’s overall strategy and direction.

Requirements:

●        Strong project management skills – working with outside agencies and contractors to to drive the project to completion
●        5 + years’ experience in marketing, sales and/or marketing management 
●        Strong analytical, strategic and presentation skills
●        Strong ability to write effective marketing collateral
●        Demonstrated success defining and launching marketing campaigns
●        Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
●        High energy and positive attitude

Duties:

●        Create content for our marketing/sales collateral to drive leads and subscribers 
●        Plan digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising
●        Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
●        Ensure effective control of marketing results and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets
●        Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market conditions
●        Monitor competitive products’ positioning, pricing and marketing activities
●        Communicate with senior management about marketing initiatives and project metrics, as well as to brainstorm fresh strategies
●        Conduct marketing surveys on current and new product concepts, and provides feedback for future product development
