Position Title: Distribution Specialist

A Distribution Specialist quickly and accurately handles materials and packs orders while upholding our high standards for quality, speed, and accuracy. He or she is directly responsible for delivering impressive experiences to customers and end users. This is a fast-paced, competitive environment where seconds count and small details matter. To do this work well, Distribution Specialists need to have quick hands, a discerning eye, and the ability to implement improvements on the fly.

Each person on the Fulfillment Team pushes themselves and each other to continually improve this area of the company. We’re always looking for ways to shave off seconds and increase our efficiencies. To that end, Distribution Specialists are responsible for providing feedback that can helps us improve our processes, and they readily share information that can help others perform their best work. The type of person who will be successful in this role is someone who:

This person repeatedly lifts 20-45 pounds and needs to be capable of lifting a maximum of 90 pounds. He or she will work on their feet for the entire shift, twist and bend to pick up boxes, and operate material handling equipment efficiently.

Some Specific Role Responsibilities
  • Maintains accuracy while efficiently picking and packing orders, unloading containers, and replenishing stock
  • Completes order distribution duties as assigned by the Order Supervisor
  • Assists with assembly duties as needed
  • Strictly follows inventory procedures and participates in cycle counts of inventory as needed
  • Uses good judgment to resolve problems such as broken or dirty packages
  • Questions convention and develops innovative solutions to our current processes and procedures
  • Works in compliance with appropriate safety and regulatory requirements
  • Assists leaders in creating a culture of continuous improvement

Education
High School Diploma or GED
