Overview:
Teknion is currently hiring a full-time Project Manager, Quality Manufacturing for our North York, ON. head office. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Customer Operations initiatives, including complex claims escalations, root cause analysis, business process improvement projects and dealer operations training.
Responsibilities:
- Claims Escalation & Root Cause Analysis
- Investigate escalated claims to determine deficiency root cause and facilitate corrective action
- Recommend appropriate action plans, considering Teknion, dealer & end user experience
- Judiciously apply the Teknion Claims Policy on escalated claims
- Engage various Teknion departments as required to determine root cause and drive corrective action
- Assist in generation of monthly quality reports and other ad hoc reporting as required
- Business Process Improvement Support
- Manage the on-boarding of dealers onto new tools and processes
- Perform internal testing of new tools and systems
- Create documentation and user guides for new tools, as required.
- Proactive review of all internal systems and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement
- Map out as-is and future state processes to support process improvement projects
Requirements:
- Engineering degree, with strong mechanical aptitude
- 5+ years of Project management and facilitation experience
- Demonstrated experience in a customer facing role/environment
- Process mapping and optimization experience; Lean/Black Belt certification desirable
- Excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and knowledge of data processing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proven training and coaching skills
- Strong leadership abilities that compliment strong interpersonal skills, dealing with individuals with varying backgrounds
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment that is deadline oriented
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- General understanding of manufacturing operations
