About the Role
Teikametrics is looking for a software engineer to maintain and expand our Analytics Platform and deliver analytics tools to both internal and external users. This is an entry-level role whose focus is delivering the "transform" portion of our ELT system using primarily SQL with some Python. There is significant room for the role to grow to encompass improving the tools surrounding that system, which would be in Python.
The current stack is powered by a data warehouse in Snowflake at the core with the data being surfaced in Mode and Sigma and transforms managed by DBT (Python, SQL). Extract and load operations are performed in our Scala
backend for bulk data and Stitch for smaller sundries.
Qualified candidates should have:
- 1+ years of experience working as a professional software developer.
- Strong SQL/RDBMS skills.
- Basic proficiency with Python.
- A desire to work in a collaborative environment focusing on continuous learning; participating in tech talks, code review, and some pair programming.
