Sales Representative, TeamSynced

TeamSynced, part of the Teamworks family, provides an innovative cost- and time-saving operations and communication software solution to nationally ranked NCAA athletics teams in the United States. TeamSynced is an integral part of our clients' daily workflow. Position:

TeamSynced is a small, incubator-style team within Teamworks - a startup within a startup, so to speak.

TeamSynced is looking for an entrepreneurial, highly-qualified and motivated individual to join our team as an Account Manager/Sales Rep (Hybrid Role). This person will need to be able to run a sales cycle from initial touch point to ensuring a successful implementation after the sale is made. We will expect you to be willing and able to roll up your sleeves in any other area of the company where help is needed - such as  doing renewals, helping with the planning and execution of a marketing campaign, or assisting customers with removing roadblocks on their way to extracting maximum value from our app. We’re a small team and need everyone to do Whatever Is Necessary.

The ideal candidate will be very self-driven, detail-oriented, and organized. Moreover, they should be able to efficiently prioritize, communicate effectively, and meet requested deadlines.

Sales Representative and Account Manager Duties:

OK enough fluff, let’s get to the details:

●      Become an expert in the TeamSynced platform.
●      Become an expert in athletic operations management and the operational needs of TeamSynced’s clients.
●      Meet and exceed all assigned quota and other targets.
●      Initiate sales conversations, conduct product demonstration walk-throughs, and then guide prospective clients through the contracting and implementation process.
●      Secure subscription renewals and further expand business within current accounts.
●      Create successful cold calling and email campaigns targeting new & existing prospects.
●      Show creativity and internal drive to come up with new ideas and execute them.
●      Use all available sales data to recognize key targets, trends and drive outreach decisions.
●      Build relationships with coaches through all forms of communication (phone, email, text, social, handwritten notes, etc.).
●      Initiate sales conversations, conduct product demonstration walk-throughs, and then guide prospective clients through the contracting and implementation process.
●      Collaborate with Development, Customer Support, and Marketing to ensure all client needs are being met.
●      Contribute to office culture, attend company events, and support all other staff members.
 

Qualifications and Skills:

●      2+ years of relevant sales or account management experience.
●      Bachelor’s degree required.
●      Demonstrated track record of exceptionalism, including meeting and exceeding defined targets.
●      Self-starter with a proven ability to problem solve independently and as part of a team. The capability to analyze data, formulate a conclusion and defend/support findings is highly valued.
●      Strong verbal and written communication skills.
●      Working knowledge of CRM systems.
●      An eagerness to constantly learn and the ability to pitch in where needed.
●      Persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills.
●      Patience to deal with customer issues and calls that do not end in a sale.
 
 

Bonus Points:

●      Working knowledge of Salesforce.com.
●      Collegiate athletic background.
●      SaaS/software/technology sales experience.
