We are looking for Data Analyst to make up a critical component of our Live Observation team. You are someone who loves data and all that it can do! You possess a high attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Define data sets for improved data loading into scheduling and reporting tools
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing client survey results and investigating various data inputs.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Provide quality assurance of imported data
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Support the Project Management team in tracking all live observations
- Support the Scheduling team in data loading and analysis
- Project cost analysis
- Support various live observation projects simultaneously
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
- A love for details and all things data
- Fluency in English required, knowledge of additional languages would be useful.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including a professional and diplomatic demeanor
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and listening
- Proficient using standard Google office software such as Gmail, Google docs, sheets and presentations
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities and changing expectations
- Outstanding judgment and mature business skills with the ability to establish a strong rapport with other project teams
- High level of organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working in person, in the cloud, etc.
