Summary:
CLASS Specialists are charged with supporting and delivering a variety of CLASS-based professional development and training services.
Responsibilities:
- Train and provide ongoing support to participants/clients as they deliver Teachstone’s programs
- Deliver and contribute to observer support programs/services (e.g., calibration, double coding)
- Collaborate with other CLASS Specialists to ensure quality implementation of services
- Contribute to the development and revision of program materials
- Achieve and maintain reliability for all CLASS age-levels assigned
- Other duties as needed to support Teachstone as the organization matures

- Certification/Recertification
- Community Engagement
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (or higher) in education or related field
- 5+ years professional experience in field of education
- Certified CLASS Observer
- Experience providing professional development and support to education professionals
- Knowledge of current trends in early-childhood education research and practice
- Team player who shares problem-solving responsibilities and offers creative responses to new challenges
- Ability to translate research into practice
- Ability to provide feedback that is both directive and supportive
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven training and facilitation skills
- Adept use of technology
- Up to 50-75% travel based on professional development support work loads
