The Salesforce Administrator, works directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs in order to administer and enhance the system accordingly. This role is an integral member of the production support team, and assists project teams with resolving Salesforce technical issues as well as advising on Salesforce best practices.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Act as subject matter expert for the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, PSA & Financialforce)
● Work to operationalize Salesforce administration activities
● Provide leadership and guidance for the Salesforce administration team
● Facilitate collaboration with business partners to understand production pain-points, implement workarounds, and help prioritize production problems for development work.
● Establish and improve Salesforce standards and processes
● Triage and fix defects, coordinate with vendor support teams, and provide root cause analyses for both sandboxes and production.
● Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, product roadmaps and applications available from 3rd parties on the Salesforce AppExchange.
● Assist with Salesforce platform management tasks such as app evaluations, profiles/org hierarchy design and integration with other systems
● Facilitate integration between Salesforce and other Teachstone applications
● Help coordinate technical projects within Teachstone
● Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
● Minimum 3-5 years of experience with Salesforce in a developer or administrator role.
● Salesforce Administrator certification required
● Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Dev 1 and/or any architect certifications preferred
● Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Live Agent and Omni Channel preferred
● Active Member of the Salesforce Trailblazer Community a plus
● Minimum of 3 years in project management, business analysis, and technology
● Fluency in English required, knowledge of additional languages would be useful.
● Excellent interpersonal skills including a professional and diplomatic demeanor
● Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and listening
● Ability to create new and unique ideas and an entrepreneurial spirit a plus
● Proficient using standard office software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.
● Experience in project management, with skills necessary to interpret what is needed for the success of a project and to create appropriate schedules for timely delivery
● Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities and changing expectations
● Outstanding judgment and mature business skills with the ability to establish a strong rapport with other project teams
● Excellent consulting, problem solving, and analytical skills
● Lead projects and create in-depth understanding of business problems through conversations and active information discovery with many teams at Teachstone
● Experience with Financialforce and Professional Services Automation a plus
● High level of organizational and time management skills
