Job Description:
TCN's Junior System Administrators are responsible for supporting the SRE team in the deployment, operation, monitoring, upkeep, and troubleshooting of production environments, internal services, infrastructure, and workstation life cycles.

Qualifications:
Understand basic networking protocols.
Experience with workstation support (Windows, Mac).
Possess basic understanding of performance troubleshooting.
Experience with Linux and Linux environments.
Basic understanding of virtualization technologies.
Experience with scripting languages (bash, python, ruby).
Ability to document processes, procedures and policies.
Excellent communication skills.
Must possess the desire and ability to learn both simple and complex technologies.

Nice to Have's:
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (API's and CLI's).
Experience with configuration management tools.
Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Experience with enterprise production Linux environments.
Experience with Kubernetes.
Experience with other container orchestration platforms (Swarm, EKS, Mesos).
Competency with infrastructure as code.
Familiarity with programming languages (go, java, nodejs) from a dev-ops/continuous delivery perspective.
Very strong understanding of computing fundamentals (CPU and RAM interaction, disk I/O, etc).

Duties:
Assist and support the SRE team. 
Respond to availability incidents and provide support for the SRE team with customer incidents.
Assist with identification, triage, resolution, and escalation of production-related issues in a timely manner.
Communicate with customer facing team and provide technical trouble shooting support for internal services, infrastructure and workstations.
Monitor Service Level Indicators, Service Level Objective's and Service Level Agreement requirements.
Improve documentation all around, either in application documentation, policies and procedures. Explaining the why, not stopping with the what.
Provide support for and assistance during industry audits and assessments.
