Drive train engineer

Qualifications:
Master degree in Mechanical engineering
Mİn 3-5 years of experience, preferably from the wind turbine or offshore industry
- Component design: forged parts cast parts, bolted connections
- Mechanism design and calculation
- Transmission system dynamics: dynamical analysis, vibrations, mechanical noise
- Component specification: couplings, brake systems, lubrication systems, gears, bearings
- Component calculation & analysis: FEA, fatigue, fracture mechanics
- 3D CAD experience, preferably in NX or CATIA V5/V6
- Innovative and work in a structured, methodical and organized fashion
- Task solving approach, both technically sound and commercially viable
- Proactive, and possess the ability to work both independently and in teams
- Supportive and have a helpful and service-minded approach
- Capable to strive in a cross-functional, international setting and understand team dynamics

Responsibilities:
To develop new technical solutions for wind turbine drive train
Researching new technologies, market trends and knowledge sharing, related to drive train
Participate in the definition of a mechanical roadmap
Design, calculation, evaluation, and specifications mechanical components like couplings, main shaft, bedframe, bolted joints, bearings, gearbox
Defining design tools, procedures, and guidelines
Stakeholder management including cooperating with suppliers and communicating project members
Identify innovative technologies, trends, and new technical solutions, related to wind turbine drive train
Develop drive train new technologies, and deliver ready-to-use solutions that will be used in existing and new turbine designs.
