As a Design Technologist with T3 Labs, you will help define, design, and build prototypes, sales materials, and branding of T3 Labs products and services. Your skill set spans from human-centered design to development. Through exploration and experimentation of emerging technologies, tools, and cultural shifts, you will quickly understand the most effective way to bring future visions to life from prototypes to Experience Visions, to MVPs, helping to define the next generation of world-class offerings for T3 and our clients.
With a lean team and true startup mentality, you will ensure that T3 Labs accelerates the path of ideation to discovery of future customer offerings spanning the likes of AI, VR, AR, etc. Your work will serve T3 and our clients. Deliverables and activities may include, among other things, functional prototypes, MVP development, workshop participation, opportunity identification, documentation, and go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities:
- Ideate and design solutions to solve problems of customers and businesses, both known and unknown.
- Participate in concept development as part of a lean team responsible for accelerating innovation for T3.
- Rapidly and independently build prototypes of varying fidelity to clearly communicate the vision and proper application of the concept for internal review, development partners, senior leadership, and network.
- Work closely with Innovation Engineer to ensure that the foundation of prototypes translates to production-grade services.
- Create documentation by way of pattern libraries to ensure repeatable and scalable processes.
- Assist in the creation and promotion of case studies, including learnings and POV on technologies used, market readiness, and evolution opportunities.
- Work with a small collective to sketch out ways in to ideas along with project planning, rollout, dependencies, and components.
- Assist in conducting rapid customer discovery/user research.
- Attend technical/industry conferences, meetings, and events to bolster network beginning in Austin, Texas.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related field experience
- Portfolio of work that demonstrates attention to typography, color, imagery, motion, and graphic elements
- Strong rapid prototyping skills
- Solid understanding of common software design patterns and web application architecture
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and familiarity with Object-Oriented thinking
- A passion for creating beautiful, engaging, intuitive, efficient, highly usable user interfaces
- A desire to work in an agile environment, where iteration is encouraged
- Understanding of Innovation Ecosystem
- Well organized and autonomous with minimal direction
- Working knowledge of Lean Principles
