Director of Sales Operations

Synup (/sign-up/) is looking for a Director of Sales Operations to join our rapidly growing organization as a critical part of our sales organization. At Synup - our clients are everything to us, and you will play a critical role in growing our client base and revenue. 

The focus of the Sales Operations and Strategy Director role will be driving sales strategy, operational consistency and salesforce.com hygiene/discipline/optimization across the Sales organization. The ideal individual is a self-starter, problem-solver with a passion for technology, sales, and new market development. This role will be involved in strategy and planning for the Sales organization and collaboration with sales management. This role will be responsible for optimizing salesforce.com usage, mitigating and resolving sales channel conflict across channels as well as capturing and sharing best practices. Additionally, there will be significant coordination with all Sales Operations teams and cross-functionally to ensure the global implementation of business processes and practices.

Responsibilities
  • Become an expert on Synup’s value prop, products, sales operations, markets and channels
  • Partner with leadership on project coordination which can range from project planning to execution to cross-functional liaison
  • Work with sellers and management on channel conflict
  • Ensure standard Synup processes and methodologies are being implemented and used in all active markets
  • Proactively identify and recommend process improvements, both external and internal, that will increase seller performance and drive revenue

Minimum Requirements
  • BA/BS degree, with 5+ years of relevant professional experience in SAAS, operations, account management, consulting, or a similar field
  • Great working knowledge of software systems including Salesforce and Microsoft Excel (salesforce admin experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across multiple departments
  • Proven ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong execution skills with the ability to drive projects to completion without significant supervision
