As the Manager of Demand Generation, you will play a critical role in growing our business at a rapid rate. You'll manage all lead generation efforts through both online and offline channels. This is an intense role that requires management of a lot of moving parts including demand generation, SEM, SEO, email, automated business marketing, website, trade show marketing, and other event marketing. Candidates must have a proven track record of driving growth through lead generation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow pipeline and sales qualified opportunities through the effective creation of high-quality MQLs
- Establish data-oriented practices to optimize the performance of the team and continually improve the efficiency and impact of marketing channels
- Support the growth of our marketing/sales tech stack and institute initiatives to drive efficiency, scale and increase conversion
- Forecast, measure, analyze and report on the impact of demand creation activities on pipeline and revenue
- Being a strong leader, mentor, team player and a focus on helping others succeed
- Manage the demand generation budget with detailed focus on the ROI of each campaign
- Establish strong collaborative relationships with Sales
- Stay current on growth marketing trends, best practices, and benchmarks and drive experimentation and evolution of our marketing channels
- Manage the demand generation budget and pushing the status quo to run smarter marketing programs at scale
- Monitor pipeline data and performance regularly, and identify opportunities and strategies to improve
- Bring in the latest industry trends, marketing tactics, technologies and approaches
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven track record of driving growth through varied marketing channels at a B2B company
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role, ideally within SaaS
- Marketing degree preferred
- Ability to manage high volume campaigns and programs while optimizing ROI
- Ability to identify data-driven opportunities to generate, accelerate, and close pipeline
- Ability to collaborate well with members of the Sales/Partnerships, Marketing, and Operations team
- Self-driven to achieve goals; high energy level is essential; strong, dedicated work ethic
- Able to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external influencers, as well as partners, vendors, and agencies
- Experience with enterprise-level CRM and marketing/sales automation software. Salesforce.com a plus
- 3+ years of marketing management experience
- Ability in leading, coaching and mentoring employees
- Excellent oral/written and interpersonal communication skills and very good administrative skills - must be proficient in spreadsheets and word processing and have experience using CRM platforms and reports
- Bachelor Degree
