Overview
We are looking for a world class rising marketer who can (i) help us amplify the vast amount of organic source material that our customers generate by using our core recognition product, (ii) help our sales team drive adoption of our product by top-tier companies around the world, and (iii) continuously refine our message and story for current and future customers. We believe this is a marketing opportunity that has the potential to become as iconic and impactful as Salesforce’s “No Software” campaign. This means you will help develop, implement, execute and measure the company’s marketing strategy across all product lines. About you
First and foremost, you’re someone who loves storytelling. You appreciate the power of metaphor, know how to construct a campaign with a powerful narrative arc, and can deliver the right messages to the right audiences at the right times. You have a boundless passion for marketing and don’t shy away from any of its embodiments: from the nitty-gritty of email campaign segmentation to building effective sales pipeline and inbound leads to working with design and creative to define the voice of our brand and products. When it comes to leadership, you bring simplicity, focus, and clarity of vision to your team and objectives for which you are responsible. You’re results-focused, understand KPIs and can develop key marketing reports and analytics. You’re also comfortable partnering across all sales channels to deliver prospect- and customer-facing programs that help close deals. Overall, you’re a well-rounded marketer, with a passion and love for their craft, in their career ascendancy, yearning to join a company whose mission they can really fly with.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from a Top-50 university (for local Duke, UNC, NC State preferred)
- Demonstrated academic achievement would be ideal (e.g. honors, Dean’s list, etc.)
- 3-5 years experience in a marketing leadership and creative role
- At a large technology company would be ideal
- Career-focused and wanting to work hard in an impact-heavy role
- Excellent design and aesthetic sense
- Well-versed in theory and influential works on the topic (e.g. Art and Visual Perception)
- Expert knowledge of industry best practices and tools
- Feel equally comfortable discussing lead generation, marketing automation, funnels, social, messaging & copy, etc.
- Has a mental framework that’s analytical and first-principles-based
