Overview
Surprise HR, Inc. is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to join our People Ops team in the Raleigh office. The primary objective of this role will be to help double our current headcount. You will contribute to the overall recruiting success by working hand in hand with recruiting leadership and the CEO. This includes assisting in developing, implementing, executing and measuring the company’s talent acquisition strategy across all departments.

Your Impact
As our Recruiting Coordinator, and a member of the Surprise HR, Inc. People Ops team, you will be responsible for achieving weekly targets in terms of the number of candidates sourced and number of interviews scheduled with the hiring team. This will require you to:
- Drive and scale Qualified Candidate Pipelines to fuel the company’s growth initiative
- Schedule a high volume of phone, on-site and video interviews with the support of company resources to build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline
- Identify prospects through extensive research and by targeted networking in order to create an actionable list of contacts for each search
- Collaborate intensively with all internal departments to assess open positions within the company
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from a Top-50 university (for local applicants Duke, UNC preferred)
- Demonstrated academic achievement would be ideal (e.g. honors, Dean’s list, etc.)
- Competitive athletics/sports or other extracurriculars would be ideal
- 1-2 years experience in a high-growth Talent Acquisition/Recruiting organization
- Technology companies would be ideal (startups included)
- Career-focused with the desire to work hard in an impact-heavy role
- Expert knowledge of industry best practices and tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Has a mental framework that is analytical and first-principles-based
