Overview
Surprise HR, Inc. is looking for a Recruiting Manager to join our People team and help us grow to double our current headcount. This means you will help develop, implement, execute and measure the company’s recruiting/talent acquisition strategy across all departments. At Surprise HR we believe in assigning responsibilities along functional lines, so expect to own the entire process, from sourcing candidates to making offers, for all of our teams, from customer support to executive. Description
1. Develop and maintain strong candidate pools for all open positions
2. Design and implement a university recruiting and internship programs
3. Relentlessly drive the recruiting process toward our audacious expansion goals by problem-solving to resolve any obstacles or challenges that arise and knowing when and how to involve others as necessary
4. Facilitate conversations and drive consensus among multiple stakeholders to bring hiring issues to a successful conclusion
5. Track, report and analyze the effectiveness of the recruiting strategy and pursue opportunities to refine and improve the process
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from a Top-50 university (for local Duke, UNC, NC State preferred)
- Demonstrated academic achievement would be ideal (e.g. honors, Dean’s list, etc.)
- Competitive athletics/sports or other extracurriculars would be ideal
- 1-2 years experience in a high-growth Talent Acquisition/Recruiting organization
- At a technology company would be ideal (startups included)
- Career-focused and wanting to work hard in an impact-heavy role
- Expert knowledge of industry best practices and tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to chair meetings.
