Overview
At Surprise HR, we’re committed to hiring sales leaders who light up with competitive glee from our team’s guiding principle: to derive a tremendous sense of purpose from the inner quest for excellence itself, being driven from within to make anything we touch be the best it can be.
In a nutshell, the primary objective of our Sales Managers is to help their team of Field Account Executives maximize performance. You will be responsible both for their sales performance (quota attainment and metrics) as well as how they fit into our values-driven culture — competence and character are equally important here. You will play a key role in every step of the process including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and deal planning. Ideally you will also have the skills to assist your reps with key meetings and act as a company authority for negotiating and closing deals.
About you
You are a sales leader who:
- has mastered the difference between training and coaching and fundamentally understands the most effective process for helping capable Account Executives reach their full potential.
- is in alignment with our guiding principle, enjoys improving your own skillset purely for the pleasure of knowing that you're one step closer to excellence.
- knows that the number one most impactful way for you to spend your time is coaching and developing your team. You spend at least 70% of your time coaching your reps and helping them close deals.
- understands that it's just as important to ensure each person on your team has the right mindset as it is to ensure they have the right skillset.
