Surf Air has an aggressive growth and acquisition strategy and is looking for experienced Membership Directors who can deliver on helping us go deep within our California market. Our Memberships Directors responsible for hunting, qualifying, and onboarding new members, handling and managing all aspects retention, along with generating referrals and using sales tools to maximize results. Most importantly, our Membership Directors are here to work on a tight nit, professional team that’s here deliver results, by learning from each other and understanding the true needs of our prospective and current members.  
 
Responsibilities: 
 
  • Sell our memberships to qualified individuals, families, and companies of all sizes across California. 
  • Manage the full lifecycle of members; new, upgrades, downgrades, dormancy, rejoins & reactivations. 
  • Build relationships of trust with fellow team-members, prospects and members
  • Deliver an exceptional, bespoke sales experience for our prospects
  • Build, manage and report on a large pipeline of leads and opportunities
  • Consistently achieve revenue and conversion targets whilst focusing on increasing share of wallet and generating referrals. 
  • Work across multiple platforms, including Salesforce, Live Chat, Zuora and LinkedIn
  • Participate in events, networking, and general on the ground efforts. 
  • Understand and effectively communicate Surf Air’s value proposition, technology, processes, partnerships as related to the growth of current and prospective member accounts

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven high touch account management and/or sales experience 
  • Excellent sales skills including the ability to quickly create and build relationships
  • Demonstrated track record of success and established relationships
  • Strong analytical and consultative skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Technology savvy and organized
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Must be a self-starter and a problem solver

Requirements:

  • Travel throughout California is required 
  • You’ll be required to meet members/ prospects in person and participate in regular evening networking events.
