Overview
Surf Air is seeking an accomplished Marketing Manager to join its team and help disrupt the inefficiencies of the air travel industry. The Marketing Manager will own the day-to-day responsibilities of marketing initiatives from acquisition to retention. The right candidate will have direct experience with digital advertising and media buying, social media marketing, email marketing, PR, partnerships, and is interested in learning additional channels as is necessary to help achieve the goals of the company.
With 3-5 years experience managing various marketing initiatives, the Marketing Manager will report to, and work alongside, the Director of Marketing, and will have exposure to every part of the business. The ideal candidate thinks strategically about their campaigns and understands how every channel functions and fits into the broader vision and direction of the company. The Marketing Manager will adhere to a clear set of KPIs and will be both analytical and creative in their strategic thinking.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all marketing activities within the department
- Help develop the marketing strategy in line with company objectives
- Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities
- Directly deploy the company’s marketing budget
- Create and guide all marketing material
- Plan and implement promotional campaigns
- Manage and improve lead generation campaigns and measuring results
- Daily and weekly monitoring and report on all channels
- Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
- Analyze potential strategic partnerships as it relates to growth
Requirements of the role:
- 3-5 years experience of direct marketing experience (required)
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience (required)
- Direct management of Facebook / Instagram ads, Google ads, and other large advertising platforms
- An excitement for learning new things
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Strong copywriter
- Strong creative and design thinking
