Marketing Manager

Surf Air is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to execute strategies across the spectrum of marketing initiatives and priorities. This position will be the primary owner email, social, and other digital communications. The Marketing Manager will develop and employ strategies in order to acquire new members, improve CLTV, and reduce churn, amongst other KPIs. Being an expert in various marketing tools and platforms, the Marketing Manager will create quarterly marketing campaigns that work toward specific company-wide goals and milestones. The Marketing Manager will have the ability to combine their understanding of branded content and communications while gaining insights and making decisions based on data analysis, surveying, and market research.

Salary: $60K-$80K

Responsibilities
  • Primary owner of email and social communications
  • Support for acquisition channels and business development partnerships
  • Planning, delivering, and analyzing marketing strategies across several platforms, encouraging member acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Working closely with all departments to ensure the marketing departments is achieving company growth and retention targets.
  • Monitor and maximize customer lifetime value strategies ensuring maximum profitability.
  • Ensuring effective database segmentation for effective communication.
  • Developing testing strategies to maximize results.
  • Providing marketing direction based on cohort data analysis and market research.

Required skills:
  • Direct experience with ESPs, Salesforce, and other messaging apps
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to create multi-touch marketing campaigns
  • Ability to understand and execute brand and content strategies
  • Working knowledge of CSS/HTML
  • Able to adapt quickly and problem solve creatively
  • Analytical; proficient in Google Analytics, Salesforce reporting, and other third-party data tools
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling ability
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
