Small Projects/Box Sales Rep

We are adding to our Sales & Marketing team, which helps to not only sell our services but build relationships and communicate the passion to our customers which makes Summit go. 
The ideal candidate for this position is a hardworking individual who is looking for a full-time role at Summit, and wants to work in a fun and innovative industry. We are looking for someone who has the drive to get the job done the right way.
Success in this role would come through someone who drives to expand Summit’s customer base with above and beyond relationship/customer-first care while maintaining and growing the inside sales department. In addition this individual would manage certain Summit Opportunity Projects with detailed follow through and execution of the logistics and communication of every aspect of a job, and Serve both the customer and the Sales & Marketing team with humility and class.

                  •    Receive customer phone calls, and interact with customers to identify technological needs
                  •    Make recommendations and design small systems when Opportunity Projects (small projects) come along
                  •    Create price quotes, comparing costs across numerous vendors to locate the best and most cost-effective product for the customer
                  •    Review and approve the install plan created by the logistics team
                  •    Work with Engineering team to create product configuration files
                  •    Work with Customer and Engineering team to determine functional layout of control surfaces 
                  •    Manage product delivery with follow through, ensuring the customer received the product and is satisfied with their Summit experience.
                  •    Perform final/advanced programming on the on-site equipment
                  •    Extensive training with the staff and volunteers at the Church on their new systems
                  •    Check-Out of systems to make sure we delivered what we sold                                                                                 
                  •    Managing product returns and warranties when needed. Helping the customer to navigate the vendor and assisting with any returns
                  •   Manage all aspects of small Summit Opportunity Projects from start to finish, to ensure completion quality



                  •   Work with Project Managers to fulfill “non-project” orders when requested by customers
                  •   Assist in the maintenance of Summit’s accounting system, accurately maintain all records and notes of box sales and opportunity project’s transactions, including PO’s, tax information, estimates, and invoices 
                  •   Create and send product invoices in accounting system, ensuring all payment deadlines and cost details are reflected accurately 
                  •   Be constantly on the lookout for rebates/trade-in deals and other promotions like that and make sure that customers know about them 
                  •   Attend several customer networking events throughout the year in order to put a face to the name behind the emails
                  •   Manage in-house vendor rep visits to the office, scheduling product demos and meetings with the rest of the team 
                  •   Communication with Warehouse team to ensure items in stock are kept up and readily available for box sales
                  •   Act as backup to office phones, handling calls when Receptionist and/or other team members are unavailable



                  •   3+ years of church technical experience, at a church or around a church or professional AVL environment
                  •   Willing to travel in small doses (10-20 times per year) 
                  •   We are based in Colorado, so you must live here or be willing to relocate
                  •  Hold a current driver’s license with clean driving record
