Positions offered: Software Engineers (Dev Ops) (multiple openings)
Job Duties: Responsible for software engineering to enable creation, verification, and operation of complex data pipelines that operate in the face of changing logical and physical infrastructure, changing schemas and structures, and evolving semantics of data produced. Duties include developing and enhancing product automation to achieve efficiency; developing product benchmarking tool and Cloud infrastructure testing framework; developing the monitoring architecture and implementing monitoring dashboards, escalations, and alerts; working closely with R&D, Customer support, and Product Management to optimize dev ops infrastructure and continuous deployment strategies to support maximum up-time and quick turnaround of deployments; driving continuous improvements of application and infrastructure deployments; leveraging new technologies to improve tools and performance across application and infrastructure deployments.
Requires Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related plus two years of experience in software engineering. Requires knowledge of C++, Java, RDBMS, SQL scripts, Object oriented programming; and experience: developing testing tools using Java; developing automated tests in Java using Selenium Webdriver; integrated automation testing with Jenkins continuous integration tool; Setting up Nagios Server for QA infrastructure; automating REST APIs and integrating with Jenkins; automating infrastructure provisioning and management of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft AZURE Cloud platforms; experience in all phases of testing life cycle, test drive development methodologies, and SDLC using Agile methodologies.
