Event Marketing Manager

Face-to-face still trumps digital when it comes to making a lasting impression. Events are a core part of our marketing strategy and we are looking for a dedicated Events Manager to help execute and accelerate Stardog’s awareness and demand generation strategies. 

Responsibilities:

  • This is a soup-to-nuts event manager role which you will own and drive all logistics and execution of events
  • Define and implement an event strategy supporting marketing and sales goals
  • Manage digital events (webinars) including coordination of speakers, content, and audience recruitment
  • Support customer events including Innovation Days and Thought Leadership Forums
  • Support user events such as meetups and trainings
  • Research, plan and maintain the Stardog event calendar
  • Set goals and define metrics for each event including targeted lead flow
  • Track post-event success measurement and ensure timely sales follow-up
  • Manage and maintain the Events budget
  • Represent Stardog to counterparts at partners, vendors, and outside vendors


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in event, tradeshow, or field marketing
  • Strong project management, time management, and execution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel frequently as needed to support in person events (North America, Europe)
  • Industry experience with events in the enterprise software space
  • Technical event experience, a plus
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales teams through a variety of targeted events
  • A self-starter and a solid team player who owns his or her success metrics
  • Comfortable working in a small but rapidly evolving company environment
  • Fantastic people skills -- you find satisfaction in collaborating with and helping others
