Director of Product Marketing

Stardog is seeking a versatile Director of Product Marketing to lead core go-to-market activities for our fast-growing start-up. As Director of Product Marketing, you'll help Stardog become an industry leader by creating messaging and content for all key influencers and decision makers – from developers to technical decision makers to C-level executives. This role will be our first product marketer, which means you’ll play a core role in shaping how we position our solution in market.

Stardog is an enterprise knowledge graph platform that allows customers to query massive, disparate, heterogeneous data regardless of structure with simplicity of implementation. Stardog’s enterprise customers include Global 2000 companies in finance, healthcare, life sciences, energy, media, and government. 
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Own and refine product-level messaging and positioning for key buyers and users
  • Develop and execute a content plan to drive thought leadership and product awareness 
  • Show off our customers! Share their journeys and results with customer case studies, blogs, and speaking events
  • Partner with demand generation to drive acquisition and awareness programs including content creation support webinars and trade shows
  • Be an expert on the market, our buyers, and our product to enable sales and partners on value proposition, pitch decks, competition positioning, and objection handling
  • Help build our Developer community with educational programs and in-person meet-ups to drive product excitement and adoption
  • Partner with our sales development team to create successful vertical-specific campaign content and messaging
  • Coordinate monthly customers forums and newsletters
  • Identify new market opportunities and monitor competitive trends
  • Support product releases and coordinate launch plans, as needed
 
Qualifications:
 
  • 4-7 years in B2B product marketing
  • Must have experience with database and/or data unification solutions and working with technical buyers and developers
  • Excellent ability to work independently and collaborate with peers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to roll up the sleeves to get the job done no matter the task, willingness to commit to a fast-paced startup working culture
  • Ability to prioritize and manage various projects
  • Bachelor’s degree; additional marketing or business certifications, a plus
  • Must work out of our Arlington office
