Job Summary
The Production (Logistics Manager) will provide inter-regional project delivery coordination for all Sulphur Experts projects, ensuring that technical excellence, cost, schedule and contractual requirements are achieved. This individual will report to the VP of Operations and will manage the project logistics team.
Education & Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized post secondary diploma or degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent.
- SCMP designation, education specializing in Supply Chain / Operations Management or equivalent would be considered an asset.
- Minimum five years’ experience in supply chain, dispatching, logistics, operations management or project coordination, preferably in the oil and gas or related industry.
- Commitment to safety and safe workplace practices.
- Recent experience in managing multiple clients and executing multi-disciplined projects of various sizes would be considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall deployment of engineering and technical resources to all Sulphur Experts projects, in collaboration with Regional Managers. This includes running the master schedule for field deployment of engineers and technologists, plus scheduling of data analysis and client reporting.
- Complete project budgets and schedules directly and via regional managers. Ensure project budget compliance with respect to man days, direct costs, travel, overtime and contractors.
- Act as final authority for project scheduling and deployment of staff resources, equipment and travel to projects as per project budgets prepared by Regional Managers, ensuring maximum productivity.
- Provide technical support to project proposals regarding scope and schedule and approve all project proposals prior to client submission.
- Provide input and involvement with project reviews.
- Provide indirect supervision of Project Leads.
- Report financial analysis to management on budget and actual cost for company-wide project deployment on a quarterly basis.
- Act as oversight for project logistics and coordinate hiring of project sub-consultants.
