Sales Executive

You’re a driven self-starter that is passionate about change. You're excited to join a new and growing team with ambitious goals to drive major change in the title & closing services industry. You will report to the CEO. 

As a Sales Executive at Spruce, you will:

  • You will be focused on generating new business through institutional-level sales to mortgage lenders representing Spruce’s title & closing solutions

  • Meet or exceed revenue goals by intelligently leading and managing the sales activities to targeted prospects within your target market
 
  • Practice thoughtful discovery, understand prospects compelling events, critical success factors, buying and decision criteria
 
  • Articulate the path to closure and key tactical steps for each account, from prospecting to closing to onboarding
 
  • Work closely with account management partners to ensure smooth and successful client onboarding
 
  • Ensure effective and consistent use of our pipeline monitoring tools to accurately track selling and buying activities, pipeline velocity, client interaction and feedback and forecasting of results
 
  • Possess an attitude of collaboration and relationship-building both within and outside of the company
 
  • Provide the voice of the client and industry to marketing and product management to drive go-to-market activities and product development roadmap
 
  • Be a recognized presence at industry events, with a focus on continual learning of industry drivers and trends

Requirements:

  • Equivalent of 8+ years of documented success in sales within the mortgage industry, with experience selling title and closing services highly valued

  • Experience driving a complex sales process, project and resource management

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to C-level executives

  • Stellar sales track record of exceeding revenue targets as well as a willingness to be hands-on and build long-term client relationships

  • Demonstrated passion, flexibility, and resourcefulness to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment; creativity and energy to be an agent for change

  • Patient listener, who respects the opinions of others and can comfortably implement a project plan or idea different from their own 

  • This position can be based from our TX, NY, or CA offices, or can be remote. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time necessary.
