Creative Production Manager

Creative Production Manager

Springbox is seeking a detail-oriented individual to play the pivotal role of Creative Production Manager. This team player would effectively manage the workflow of creative projects and creative resources on behalf of the creative team. The ideal candidate has a creative background, whether that be in a design, copywriting or production role. They get the ins and outs of creative production in both the traditional and digital senses, i.e., they know what CMYK is. They have intimate knowledge about (and, ideally, hands-on experience with) building websites and understand how to integrate the different disciplines — strategy, user experience, content and development — instrumental in bringing them to life. They have marketing experience in creating and producing multi-channel campaigns with hundreds of media placements, ad sizes and specs (offline and online). They’ve developed a brand or two, big ones, and understand the process of establishing brand positioning, messaging and identity. Most important for this role, they are diligent about immersing in multiple brand guidelines and ensuring the work we produce remains consistent with these guidelines throughout the lifecycle of creative production. They enjoy working closely with creatives (copywriters, art directors, production designers, proofers, creative directors, interaction designers), helping them source and secure asset rights, recommending and coordinating virtual team members and essentially reducing the burden of activities that impact their ability to successfully deliver against expectations. They get creative personalities and understand the nuances of the different roles on the creative team and across a digital-first agency — i.e., copy, art direction, UX design, UI, content strategy, development, QA, etc.
This individual is extremely organized and embraces process. You might think in their past life they were a project manager. They value partnership and seek to establish working norms with our project managers and account directors. They seek to drive efficiency while retaining quality. They recognize their role in the creative process — managing timelines, schedules and resource allocations — while also ensuring attention to detail during the creative production cycle to guarantee brand continuity and consistency. They like helping others succeed. And occasionally they like to dip their toes into the work to assist bandwidth-constrained team members.
