Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Retention

We’re seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Retention to join us in Pasadena, CA. Spokeo builds innovative products that make your world more transparent. We help you know the people around you better so you can be more connected, more protected, and trust a little easier.

  • Develop the retention marketing strategy for email, paid search, and social channels to increase customer engagement, retention, and win-back conversions
  • Leverage marketing insights, analytics, and A/B testing to improve customer retention experiences, such as messaging, landing pages, and marketing triggers
  • Dig into customer data to understand and define segments, then use this data to design campaigns to drive growth at all stages of the user life-cycle
  • Manage the campaign tracking strategy, implementation, and reporting for retention marketing 
  • Work with Product, Marketing and Customer Experience teams to define our customer segments, personas, product/pricing mix, and promotional offers
  • Monitor the latest industry trends as well as competitor landscape
  • Help improve marketing communications across various ads, emails, products, notifications, and user experiences
  • Examine KPIs to identify areas of improvement, communicate actionable insights, and measure campaign effectiveness
  • Partner with Customer Service and Product teams to identify optimization opportunities within the customer cancellation and refund workflows

  • 7+ years of direct-response marketing with major digital marketing agencies and high-traffic consumer subscription model websites
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 5+ years of email marketing experience (subject matter expert)
  • Proven profit optimization capabilities (multiple CPAs, LTV integration, proven ad messaging optimization)
  • Hands-on experience managing email, paid search, paid social campaigns, and all the different bidding strategies
  • Strong Google Analytics/Tag Manager capabilities
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, and chart building
  • Proven capabilities around the customer journey, customer and targeted messaging
  • An analytical and detail-oriented problem solver
  • Highly developed interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
