Programmer/Developer Analyst 3

12 Month Contract

Provide Application Maintenance and Support of the TEA Oracle (PeopleSoft) Financial Application (CAPPS) along with several TEA Custom Developed Modules (bolt-on applications) developed using the Financial development framework and database.  Application Maintenance and Support includes the skills and requirements for supporting application systems, including troubleshooting, modifying, maintaining and enhancing the systems. The CAPPS Financial modules used to conduct daily Agency business are Asset Management, Accounts Payable, General Ledger including Commitment Control, Inventory and Purchasing. Monitor system interfaces to the State Comptroller’s Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS) that produces the payments to vendors. Modify interfaces, subsystems, the TEA custom developed modules, system architecture and design, hardware and software infrastructure, and databases. Develop and update SQR, Query, Business Objects Reporting and nVision reports. Provide customer and production support. 
 
Responsible for promotion of modified code projects from the Test environment to Production.  Responsible for maintenance of permissions list and security related to code promotions. Ensure all steps are taken to complete and verify code moves to production.
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • 7 years of knowledge of Oracle (PeopleSoft) Financial 9.x
  • 7 years of expertise with Oracle (PeopleSoft) modules in Asset Management, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Inventory and Purchasing
  • 7 years of knowledge of PeopleCode, Application Designer, and PeopleTools Version 8.45+ and beyond, Micro Focus COBOL Server Express 5.0, Net Express 5.0, Tuxedo and BEA WebLogic
  • 7 years of work experience and skills with PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Designer, and SQL in Version 8.x and beyond
  • 7 years of work experience and skills in the use of Oracle databases Version 11g-12c
  • 7 years of report writing experience with Queries, BI Publisher, nVision and SQR
  • 7 years of work experience and skills analyzing, designing, testing, documenting, and resolving problems on web-based applications
  • 7 years of work experience and skills in gathering and analyzing data requirements, writing documentation, and working with a diversified customer base
  • 7 years of report writing experience with Queries, BI Publisher, nVision and SQR
  • 7 years of knowledge of secure application coding practices and ability to test for same
  • 7 years of working experience with setup and support of PeopleSoft Workflow
  • 7 years of work experience and skills installing, configuring, tuning and resolving problems on web servers, application servers, and process schedulers
  • 7 years of experience performance tuning of existing and new reports
  • 5 years of experience performing code migrations to Production environment
  • 5 years of working experience with setup and support of PeopleSoft security profiles, roles, and permission list
  • 5 years of work experience and skills in the use of Linux and shell programming
  • 5 years of working experience with setup and support of PeopleSoft security profiles and roles
  • 5 years of knowledge and ability to write complex stored procedures and triggers on an Oracle platform
                
TERM OF SERVICE
Services expect to start as soon as possible and are expected to be completed by August 31, 2020. Total estimated Worker hours should not exceed 360 hours (approximately 30 per month). This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
