Accounting and Finance Manager

Our client is an IT MSP (Managed Service Provider) based in San Francisco with over 20 plus years of service history is seeking a highly motivated professional for the position of an Accounting and Administration Manager as a key member on their G&A team. As a member of the leadership team, you will contribute to a positive, collaborative, innovative culture, including providing senior level input to strategic and business planning. In this role you will have the opportunity to apply your accounting and finance expertise alongside your ability to manage the human resource administration for the company.  You will be responsible for managing company budget, payroll, HRIS, employee and company administration needs. This position reports to the CEO.
 
The Manager of Accounting and Administration contributes to the overall success of the company by managing financial and accounting services to ensure long term financial viability of our company, additionally, this role will take on the tasks of helping to ensure our people are well-cared for in a way that creates happy and satisfied employees. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: accounting management, financial planning, managing financial health, managing our PEO vendor, and human resource administration management.  
 
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Establish and maintain effective financial management ensuring sound business practices, compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements to ensure the company’s financial goals are achieved. 
· Ensure the CEO and senior leaders are fully informed about the company’s financial performance on a weekly basis. 
· Develop and maintain systems to provide up-to-date and accurate financial information, including monthly reporting. 
· Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
· Lead and participate in financial and business reviews to improve and strengthen business processes. 
· Evaluate the need for new financial and human resource technology requirements across the organization and recommend appropriate solutions that meet the company’s financial and information requirements. 
· Manage the development and delivery of the human resource administrative function, including employee records, reception and the central administration team to provide effective and efficient services. 
· Develop reports with key performance indicators that clearly demonstrate key financial status and issues.
· Leads financial and business reviews to improve and strengthen business processes. Advises leadership on desirable operational adjustments due to tax code revisions. Arranges for audits of the company's accounts. Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies. Establishes relations with banks and other financial institutions.
· Manage the Accounting and Administration team to achieve optimal performance, including the management of workloads and resourcing, performance management, constructive feedback and facilitation of ongoing professional and technical development. 
· Foster and encourage strong working relationships and embed a consistent, client-focused culture.
· Understand and be a passionate B-Corp mission advocate both internally and externally. 
 
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

People and Office Operations: 
· Oversee office administration & fleet vehicle administration for two offices and a field team.  
· Develop and manage administrative functions that will fully support our staff’s needs and the ability to deliver a high-quality user experience to our customers. 
· Manage all aspects of people operations up to and including payroll, HR functions, managing our PEO relationship, HR vendors, talent acquisition process, and onboarding/off-boarding.
· Oversee the creation of People Operations activities related to performance management, training & development, culture, talent acquisition, handbook/policies, HR compliance, and other areas as needed. 
· Other special projects as assigned.
