This role is for a full-time Desktop Support Engineer with our client that runs the IT desk at The Asia Foundation (TAF) in their San Francisco headquarters.
The successful candidate will report to the Senior IT Manager and be responsible for supporting the headquarters and other US branch offices in San Leandro and Washington, DC.
TAF Global Information Services (GIS) is a dedicated and passionate team supporting hundreds of staff in the US and Asia and works with modern technology systems in a worldwide distributed environment.

What you bring to the team:

Your job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Provide system administration to headquarters and US office hardware, software, and infrastructure
· Provide technical support to the US-based end-user community and manage support requests
· Provide training to staff with written articles, live demos, and orientations
· Document and track changes, processes, and procedures
· Occasional travel to branch offices may be required for troubleshooting, deployment, and staff training
You will need to have:
· Experience with Microsoft Office 365, particularly user and group management
· Windows 2012/2016 server administration, Active Directory, file shares, permissions, group policies
· Understanding of networking basics and TCP/IP protocol
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
· Experience deploying both Windows 10 and Mac operating systems
· Familiarity with VoIP phone systems
· Familiarity with Outlook and Exchange email
· Familiarity with video conference meeting tools and AV equipment
· Experience training staff on applications and procedures
· MCP and/or MCSE is an asset
