About Sonocent
In the last few decades, our access to information has grown exponentially, it’s practically limitless. We read, listen, and watch all manner of sources with ease.
But how we capture that information remains largely unchanged: we take notes.
In 2007, Dr Roger Tucker founded Sonocent to explore the value of audio notes, recognising that students with disabilities like dyslexia often relied on lengthy digital recordings for note-taking.
Today, our note-taking technology helps 100,000s of users to improve their study skills by using spoken information more effectively. We’re immensely proud to be working with hundreds of institutions to give all students better access to information with improved note-taking.
While we're a successful company already — enjoying multiple awards and a growing user base — we now want to take our technology further. Therefore, we're looking for exceptional individuals to help us realise our potential.
