As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving new business, prospecting and qualifying new accounts, largely within US markets, with the objective of converting them into pilots and clients. Responsibilities
Prospecting New Business and Account Acquisition
- Prospecting and qualifying new accounts via outbound calls.
- Convert Qualified Leads and Prospects to carry out a pilot or to lead to a direct acquisition via calls. webinar demonstrations and meetings.
- Engage in effective needs analysis with influencers and decision makers within the education sector.
- Guide the prospective client through the journey of becoming not only a customer, but also an advocate for Sonocent.
Building Relationships
- Work closely with new clients to ensure they are fully supported throughout implementation of our software
- Work closely with clients to build strategy maps, to expand their use of Sonocent’s products within their organisation
- Align strategy maps with clients needs and budgetary cycles
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to present key findings and industry trends
CRM Management
- Update and manage all accounts, leads and opportunities through the CRM
- Regularly update the CRM via notes and activity logs, to document any relevant communications with accounts
- Utilise the CRM to present the opportunity pipeline to the Sales Team
- To work with internal stakeholders to suggest system improvements
Brand Ambassador
- As a Brand Ambassador for Sonocent, present and demonstrate accurately and with appropriate professionalism
- As a face of the Sonocent brand, ensure communications, both verbal and written
Is it you we are looking for?
- You have sales experience – preferably 2 years in a new business role
- You have experience in a SaaS business
- You have heaps of energy and thrive off a busy, yet supportive working environment
- You have a clear understanding of what motivates and engages customers
- You love to build strong and credible relationships
- You’re an excellent communicator
- You love to learn and understand the impact of tech for good

£26,000 - £28,000 (dependant on experience) + OTE
