Our existing note taking software, Audio Notetaker, is already used worldwide by hundreds of thousands of students across 600+ universities. It has proven to transform learning and increase students’ self-confidence. In fact, 87% of users have said that Sonocent improved their grades.
Over the last 2 years we have been working on the next big thing: a SaaS web app designed to transform how we glean knowledge from conversations and presentations.

Who could you be?
We are looking for a Chief Growth Officer to take ultimate responsibility for our revenue growth and drive the development and execution of our commercial strategy.
In order to grow, we need to be able to scale rapidly. You will be responsible for ensuring our systems, processes and teams can grow at the pace we need them to. Your leadership skills should foster collaboration: inspiring growth and action across the sales and marketing functions at Sonocent. We want you to help us bring our new tech to market and to take advantage of all the opportunities it will create.
Together with the CEO, COO and CTO you will be a part of the Executive Team, acting as the face of the company both internally and externally. We want you to be known in the industry as a thought-leader and a key factor in Sonocent’s success.

Take Action
As Chief Growth Officer, we would challenge you to:
Revenue and Growth
- Be responsible for revenue; overseeing the sales and marketing functions at Sonocent.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans for defining our route to growth and profitability.
Sales and Marketing Operations
- Design the sales and marketing engine — including strategy, technology, processes and team structure — to ensure that the company identifies and optimises a clear path to aggressive growth.
- Use metrics and data to track team progress, implement better buyer targeting, customer adoption, pricing and solve bottlenecks for further growth.
- Evaluate and improve the stack of pipeline management and automation tools across sales and marketing to create predictable, scalable revenue growth.
- Allocate and efficiently manage a budget.
Strategic Partnerships
- Identify, negotiate and nurture partnerships which meet our strategic goals.
- Negotiate commercial agreements to ensure the best financial outcome for Sonocent.
Research and Market Development
- Coordinate market research and analyse threats and opportunities.
- Guide market development activities to identify the most profitable and scalable new opportunities.
Leadership and Management
- Participate in the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO.
- Assist in creating a fast-paced culture which is focused on results and uses evidence to make smart decisions.
- Manage, coach and motivate direct reports.
- Prepare reports for the board.
- Deliver thought-leadership within the industry and local community.

- Ability to balance being highly analytical and creative.
- Excellent communication skills.

- A Master’s degree in sales/marketing/business or similar.
