About this role
The Provider Credentialing Team is responsible for ensuring that our current and future network of SonderMInd Providers quickly and accurately submit necessary credentialing documentation to rapidly become active in our network. We are looking for a Credentialing Specialist to join the team to own all steps of our credentialing process from provider application inception to application approval to maximum credentialing. This includes proactively obtaining necessary credentialing information and driving provider activity while also serving as a liaison between our providers and our payers.
Who are we looking for
Our Credentialing Specialists serve as the primary point of contact for our growing pipeline of providers for all things credentialing related. Our ideal candidate for this role possesses exceptional organizational and communication skills in order to manage a high volume of administrative tasks and successfully drive positive behavior in our pipeline of providers. Our ideal candidate will be metrics-oriented, capable of balancing a large number of ongoing relationships, and must be continuously identifying and implementing strategies and tactics to expedite the credentialing process.
Gotta Have This:
- Comfortable corresponding live with providers and holding them accountable
- Ability to manage multiple relationships at once
- Comfortable being held to productivity metrics
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with healthcare insurance companies in some capacity
- Experience working as a liaison between customers and partners
- Working knowledge of payer credentialing or contracting
Expected Outcomes:
- Within one week: Fully understand each step of the credentialing process and submit at least one credentialing application with each of our contracted payers.
- Within two weeks: Have a scheduled follow up or next step with each provider in your credentialing pipeline
- Within one month: Successfully moved all of your assigned providers through network approval phase and achieved at least five maximally credentialed providers from your pipeline
