The responsibility of the Shipping Associate is to ensure all products are shipped out accurately and timely on both 1st and 2nd shift, per the customer's request. A successful shipping associate is analytical, well-organized and excels in communication. They must be comfortable with paperwork and information systems and have great knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.

- Be flexible to do whatever work is asked to ensure business success
- Process all company shipments through ShipStation via USPS, UPS, FedEx or per customers request
- Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
- Use software to track, check, prioritize and route orders
- Managing all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc.
- Supervise and lead subordinates
- Collaborate with CSR, Production and other managers to optimize processes
- Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies
- Report to management on activities and issues
MUST HAVE:
- Proven experience as shipping associate
- Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
- Computer savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma
